I have tried so many different coats for my Chihuahua. She has deep breasts and a healthy weight so it was difficult to find one that had the magical combination of length just enough to cover her back and small enough to fit her waist/bust. Her chest is 14 inches and her back is about 10 inches. M fits her almost perfectly. It has a slight curve near the tail that covers the hips instead of sticking out straight. This is helpful as Chihuahuas like to bend down when they are cold or nervous. The material seems to be of good quality and the padding is thick enough to really do something in freezing weather.
