So be careful when you take out the bulb and use a plastic bag to put the new one in so the oil doesn't get on the surface of the bulb. Photos added to demonstrate the project. After removing the cover from one screw, the entire lamp assembly falls out. Then the side screws separate the block in two (see photo), a couple of screws hold the metal clips for the bulb, tighten the connectors and reassemble. The key's white bulb leads face the exposed portion of the assembly, so rotate the bulb that way before tightening the clamps. I would blow out or vacuum the vents on the devices before reinstalling. The final step is then to reset the lamp clock on the device.
