RE UPDATE 05/08/18 Bulb works great nice and bright, the projector is years old but still works like new because of those cheap bulbs :) UPDATE 02/27 / 2018 Bulb dims and I expect it to last less than 100 hours before exploding. It has 2476 hours in non-eco mode, which is about the same as the standard bulb! very happy with this lamp. So happy I will be buying another one! The lamp is installed in an Acer H5380BD projector and looks like new. Very cheap price but I don't notice any difference…

The lamp was initially excellent, but after 850 hours it became very dim, you cannot play or watch movies during the day without increasing the brightness and reducing the picture quality, which is changing every day slowly deteriorated , to replace, I'll probably try another brand of pear.

why buy the whole unit when the bulb will burn out. Fifteen minutes later and about seven screws later, it was replaced. the lightbulb works great. So be careful when you take out the bulb and use a plastic bag to put the new one in so the oil doesn't get on the surface of the bulb. Photos added to demonstrate the project. Did not work as many hours as stated in the product description. The projector seemed to take a little longer on startup to reach the full brightness of that bulb and never seemed to get as bright as the original. Installing it in the case and working with small parts takes some time. I would not go to this brand again.

Works great, same bright as the standard bulb. You can buy a spare part if the price is high. Installation only took about 10 minutes.

Bought this lamp as a replacement after my H5380BD lamp was in non-eco mode for 4,000 hours. It's definitely not sold out and I've heard stories of people having trouble getting just the bulb and not the full body, but as others have said, it's hard to pass up the savings. I kept putting off changing the lightbulb just afraid I might screw it up somehow, the spare just sat there in the box. Easy to install and still working great after a month. It shines just as brightly as the original lamp. Do not touch the bulb with your hands or transfused oils from your skin to burn the bulb and shorten its life. Just use gloves. Update: I am now getting a lamp error on the projector. It hasn't blown and the bulb seems fine, but the projector is telling me to replace the bulb based on the LED sequence. So at this point I'm not sure if it's a lightbulb or a projector.
