Do not touch the bulb with your hands or transfused oils from your skin to burn the bulb and shorten its life. Just use gloves. Update: I am now getting a lamp error on the projector. It hasn't blown and the bulb seems fine, but the projector is telling me to replace the bulb based on the LED sequence. So at this point I'm not sure if it's a lightbulb or a projector.
