Note: 4ft means 4ft including all cable redundancies. I measured the distance from my breakaway switch to the clutch at about 3.5 feet and figured four feet would allow for some extra clearance, but that's not the case. Four feet probably isn't good for attachments more than two feet from the breakaway switch. If the 6ft version is built the same way, it's probably only good for splicing up to 4ft to hold some cable slack for turns.
