makes SATA III cables (8 inch blue with odd ball side connector going to even connector) TOO THIN. not durable, falls apart easily and none of mine worked. These are usually cables without additional shield insulation. hence it has no protection to prevent damage. The wires and screen crease so easily and it tears the tin foil that's wrapped like a coating. It should be noted that after one of these broke I decided to cut it open and see what I was working with and found a 7 pin connector, each with only ONE BODY WIRE for power or data. They're not even copper, they're some kind of aluminum, like an alloy. It's very thin, so you can use it to make a steep angle. That probably works fine, but for $5+6 I don't want to risk ruining $60-$250 hardware. Do not buy, the buyer must be warned.
