SATA revision 3.0 (aka SATA III) provides up to 6 Gbps data throughput, Backwards compatible with SATA revision 1 and 2 (aka SATA I and SATA II). This Cable connect motherboards and host controllers to internal Serial ATA hard drives and DVD drives. 90-degree design can make for better cable management in some situations, especially in tight spaces. 30 AWG, found one strand of wire per pin, very thin aluminum

makes SATA III cables (8 inch blue with odd ball side connector going to even connector) TOO THIN. not durable, falls apart easily and none of mine worked. These are usually cables without additional shield insulation. hence it has no protection to prevent damage. The wires and screen crease so easily and it tears the tin foil that's wrapped like a coating. It should be noted that after one of these broke I decided to cut it open and see what I was working with and found a 7 pin connector, each

Easy to bend, decent quality, works great!

I ordered these because they seemed the most flexible compared to my other cables. I have them in my Enthoo Evolv X and while my other cables worked fine, their connectors didn't give out too much, which is important in many computer cases. My drives can be attached to panels that hide cables, so it was important to me that they flex more than the ones I had. They work exactly according to plan. I've had various problems with my computer - from very long (10 minutes) Windows startup times to blue screens and other inexplicable errors.
