This template works very well if your cabinets have a sharp 90 degree top angle to install. My cabinets have a deeper rounded edge which made this template difficult to use. The "curve" that fits the top of the cabinet door wasn't deep enough to make it easy to use the template, and the plastic was too flexible - I had to get it right every time or my holes would curl up a bit move due to bending. If you have cabinet doors with a sharp 90 degree angle at the top, this will work well. If your doors have a rounded edge at the top, consider using something with a deeper plastic "ledger" that doesn't flex as much. Also, to avoid splitting the veneer, drill only long enough to see the tiny tip of the drill bit pierce the back of the cabinet door. Then drill through the back to take out the last piece of wood.
