Review on 🌊 Tidal 75 Gallon (300 Liters) SeaChem Fish Tank Filter with Sicce Pump by Michelle Sanders

Very happy with this filter.

I am very satisfied with this filter. However, I encountered a few problems. Firstly, this model came with a heated iron. I liked this idea as its placement was perfect for my needs as I like to place the heater next to the water flow so it circulates through the tank. Since I have a generic 3D background, I can't use the suction cups that come with my heater for the background. Unfortunately the clip wasn't big enough to hold my heater in place, it fit and would probably stay in place until someone hit or hit it, it would definitely pop out. Even with the adapter rotated to a higher position, my heater was too long, the adapter had to be placed much higher on the filter for it to work for me. So I placed the heater on the side of the tank using the supplied suction cups. Very disappointing as I really liked this feature. 2. The media basket of this filter is really big and can hold a lot of media. I used the included blue sponge filter and added some poly fill and the included bio medium and added 2 small packs of bio rings. I was so happy that I could accommodate everything. But when I did that, I couldn't run it on the highest thread without getting a maintenance alert popup. I even took half of the fiberfill and replaced it with a fine polishing filter made by the manufacturer specifically for this filter and still had the same problem. So I just run it at a slower flow rate. I also added a pre-filter sponge to the inlet tube as I have a sandy substrate and burrowing cichlids. I'm happy with the volume.
