The instructions do not say anything about yeast nutrition (added at the same time as the yeast, in the bottle before sealing with rubber stopper and airlock). However, it is a fully functional kit and easy to use. I sanitized the airlock, stopper, bottle cap, and bottle by boiling them briefly in a large mason jar instead of the recommended sanitizing solution.
