It cooled very well at first but after a couple of weeks we started hearing loud crackling and popping every time we turned it off. Now it doesn't cool the room anymore. The compressor turns on briefly and then off again after a few seconds or a few minutes. It took two weeks to return this unit for a refund or replacement so we lost $360 on an air conditioner that doesn't blow cold air. Beware of this product, especially if there is a loud crackling noise immediately after turning off.
