This is a really great piece of equipment for marking, cutting and sewing half square triangles. I used to have a quarter inch ruler but I couldn't mark the center of the square to cut out, only seam allowances. I was constantly folding my triangles to cut them and sometimes they were wobbly. Crooked seams do not iron well. With this sensor you can not only mark squares completely, but also ensure that your ruler does not fail and everything is accurate. Hence the name "NO HASSLE". I really like this tool, wish it had been available when I first bought quilt marking tools which sure would have saved me some money.
