This lapel pin comes in a cute box which is great for gift wrapping. The pin itself is bright and the shiny gold color looks great on dark fabrics. It's very detailed and beautiful. The crystals are very shiny and don't look cheap. The chains tend to twist, but I expected that. Straightening the limbs takes a few minutes after you attach the pin to the lapel. The needle and the chain are not the same color. The pin is more rose gold in color and the chain is more yellow gold. This is jewelry, so the sebum will discolor over time. It's a safety pin, so it shouldn't make too much contact with the skin, and discoloration shouldn't be a problem much longer than if it were a ring or bracelet. The price for this seems high. It's a good needle, but it's not worth $13.
