Anyone who builds and repairs will tell you that it's better to have more equipment than you NEED than to have more equipment than you NEED. A 'U-mount' stand for our new big screen TV - and those MESS'o screws, washers and standoffs provided cheap insurance in the event that one of the included hardware was missing or malfunctioning. I only needed ONE bolt and 2 washers - but I WAS THEM. and it turns smoothly. I now have LOTS of beautifully crafted screws, washers and spacers for Furure projects!
