Review on 💿 LCF8GBBSBNA200 Lexar Platinum II 8GB 200x Compact Flash Memory Card by Michael Hudson

I've been using this card for about a year and haven't had any problems. However, don't be fooled by the marketing hype surrounding the Platinum II 200X. This is a slow card. I also have SanDisk Extreme III 30GB/s on 4GB and 8GB cards. They are significantly faster. So much so that I only use Lexar when the SanDisk is full. I don't consider myself a demanding user, but I was frustrated with something as simple as viewing a picture on the Nikon D300. While the SanDisk was nearly lag-free, the Lexar lagged behind, sometimes by 2-3 seconds. Maybe my card is a lemon, but I'm not going to buy a Lexar Platinum II.
