Little Difficult to Install, But Solid Once You Work Through It

As you can probably tell from other reviews, the install of this unit takes a little more planning than some other units. If you are mounting directly onto a solid masonry block wall, maybe that wouldn't be the case. But, for mounting on a stud wall, it take a little extra effort, planning, and materials.Once installed though, it's a great unit. Love the versatility of being able to switch it between high mode for pullups and lower mode for dips. The ability to pull it off easily could be nice for some situations, though not really something we need since it's in our basement.Bottom line -- if the installation doesn't scare you, then this is a GREAT pull up bar / dip station combo. If planning to install on a stud wall and making your own mount plate is beyond what you're looking to do, then consider looking for a unit that mounts directly onto studs.

Pros
  • I’m definitely loving this pull up bar to help me with my upper body strength
Cons
  • Limited range of motion: Due to the fixed nature of the wall-mounted pull up and dip bar station, users may find that their range of motion is restricted, limiting their ability to engage certain muscle groups
