I really liked this set until I used it on a hot sunny day. The metal part of the handles got very hot in the sun! The oven mitt, which I thought was intended for handling hot food, was actually intended to be used for grilling tools. When I lifted the pan off the grill with my glove, I had to run to my destination because the glove was giving off heat to my hand! Now I know that to use these tools I need a regular oven mitt. With better pens, these tools would be perfect. The tweezers bend easily and offer excellent control. You can use a spatula to check the readiness of the products, cut and turn them over. Each of the tools can be hung on hooks. All are long enough for you to stay away from the flames when holding your food on the grill.
