Review on Escort IXC Radar Detector - Enhanced Range, WiFi Connectivity, Car Compatibility, Auto-Learn Protection, Voice Alerts, Multi-Color Display, Model: 0100039-1 by Nathan Skipper

First of all, this is the second Escort iX I've bought in the last month. It's wonderful, much better than my Valentine. Other reviewers have written excellent reviews of the specs on this device, and I'll let them share their opinions (I agree with them!). The reason for writing this is to warn you - DO NOT fall for "frequently bought together". " kit they recommend, or at least DO NOT buy a sticky windshield mount. The description of the radar detector is very sparse and does not indicate that the detector COMES WITH the latest generation sticky mount and uses a wonderful magnetic mount that is much easier to use than the old clip, then when I received the mount (it's supposed to fit all Escort models except the Max series) I found that it was an OLD model that has a clip in place used a magnetic mount. And as far as I can tell IT DOESN'T FIT THE iX MODEL! I'm very disappointed with Revain here. Usually when they "link" something like "Frequently Bought Together" to an item, you can rest assured that the two things are NOT HERE DO NOT buy a windshield mount and I hope Revain does the right thing and this item as an implicit accessory to this one detector removed.
