I bought 3 different versions of this flash for $9, $12 and $20. It was a $20 unit. All three appeared and played almost identically. Everything worked with my DSLR and two pocket cameras. There is a 4-position switch that syncs the flash with cameras that emit multiple flashes. The mounts were indistinguishable and a bit flimsy, but fully functional. You can attach them to the camera or to a remote control tripod or other device for side or back lighting. The one useful feature that was missing from all the units was a switch to control flash power. This means you need to get the flash closer or farther away from the subject to get the correct exposure. All 3 brands did exactly what was advertised and their price was reasonable.
