I bought these for long military training in a humid environment. I wasn't expecting much given the low price, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability of these socks. The little socks were a bit small for me (which is my fault to save money) but they fit in my boots and while the rest of my team got wet feet from crossing rivers and rain, my feet were completely dry! You can feel the water in your shoes, but your feet stay dry until the water hits your socks. It's an odd sensation, it feels like your feet are wet, but they're not, and there's no rubbing or sloshing that usually accompanies wet socks. Your feet are sweaty but it wasn't enough to make me uncomfortable and not enough to deduct a star from my rating. Overall a very good product for the price.
