Review on 🧹 Ovente Electric Bagless Lightweight Canister Vacuum Cleaner: Efficient Cleaning with 1.5L Dust Cup & Extra Sofa Pet Brush, Black ST2010 by Charlie Conner

The Ovente ST2010 is a great little vacuum cleaner for home use. It has excellent suction power for a vacuum of this size and is equally effective at cleaning floors and most low-pile carpets. The real test of the cleaning performance of this vacuum cleaner was that the sanding dust from the sanding pad got through the dust barriers into the customer's living room. While my shop vacuum could get the job done easily, it was too bulky to maneuver in an already crowded living room. The Ovente ST2010 HEPA filter, furniture brush and compact size made it the perfect candidate for this project, and it easily fits in a gym bag (see photo). Due to the large dust particles, I wasn't sure how well the HEPA filter would pick up fine sanding dust. I didn't want to risk clogging the vacuum with sanding dust, so I decided to make small changes to the filter assembly. After removing the particle filter, I took the pantyhose, cut off a small piece at the ankle area and placed it on top of the HEPA filter, making sure the top and bottom edges overlapped slightly. I then replaced the particulate filter with a sock-clad HEPA filter and reassembled the canister assembly. I felt confident that I was now ready to take on this cleaning project. The battle is won The Ovente ST2010 passed the cleaning project without complaint. The furniture nozzle did an excellent job of cleaning the sofa without damaging the fabric. Not once during this more than two-hour cleaning did the suction power drop. Best of all, no sanding dust came out of the vacuum cleaner outlet or dust box. This became apparent when I removed the dust bin and inspected the vacuum's suction and exhaust ports for white sanding dust (see Replace the used pantyhose pre-filter with a new one each time the dust bin is cleaned.
