Review on 💇 Paul Mitchell MITCH Matterial: Strong Hold Styling Clay for Men with an Ultra-Matte Finish, Ideal for All Hair Types by Leslie Wilcox

This product lasts surprisingly long. In the last 5 years I've tried about 15 products to find something really special and here it is. The finish is fairly matte, although you can get a bit more texture or shine by spritzing a little water during/after styling. Alternatively, Paul Mitchell's Reformer styler adds a bit more texture/shine, but the hold isn't as good. No strong smell (positive aspect in my opinion). The product itself has a sticky consistency, which makes it a bit difficult to spread evenly on hands, but the finish is such that while all the important areas have taken a little scuffing, almost nobody can tell where the product has been applied any more than that other. A little practice will go a long way in improving your application skills. Ditch American Crew, Ax, and any other styling products you can buy at the drugstore or grocery store. Paul Mitchell and Matterial products are several years better.
