Good tungsten at a great price
Midwest Blue Tungsten Bought on the recommendation of a friend who teaches welding and gave me tips to help me learn TIG welding. I have used Blue 1/16 and 3/32 with excellent results on aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel. They seem to hold their point longer than some of the others I've used as long as you stay away from the pool. Not that I'm good enough to offer advice, but I've found that it's best not to use tungsten on multiple materials (leave aluminum just for aluminum). I highly recommend the Midwest Blue Tungsten.
