XL packs are worth buying as they are cheaper than non-XL ink cartridges. I have a Canon MG6300 and am very happy with it. I like printing photos on this printer, but standard cartridges run out quickly. I bought XL cartridges to save money and get more prints per use. I wish they had 4 XL packs of gray ink as they are often used in color printing to match colors to run out just as quickly. It can be purchased separately but it would be nice if it came in a 4 pack. I've found the ink levels are still at their peak after numerous 5x7 photos, so I'm impressed with the ink volume in these XL cartridges. They also fit the printer perfectly, so compatibility is not an issue. I would say these cartridges should be your first choice when replacing Canon printer ink as they add value and reduce waste. Highly recommended.
