Ink cartridges are always overpriced by the manufacturer.

And they don't last very long. Even when you're not using the printer, you can keep the ink heads clean by squeezing out some of the ink that gets into the reservoir inside the cartridge and is wasted. The entire inkjet printer industry is pretty much the same regardless of make or model. Of course you can find ink cartridges from other manufacturers that work great but cost about 10 times less than brand name ink. So if you don't have to use this inkjet printer all the time, your ink will just

Good mascara, best price!

I print a lot so I really appreciate the XL size option for Canon ink cartridges. At first I was a bit puzzled why the black 251 cartridge wasn't included, but the printer really doesn't use much of that ink. I regularly use black PGI 250XL cartridges, but not 251, so bundling three color cartridges into one XL size is very useful and reduces printing costs a bit. The colors are beautiful and the print quality from the MX-922 is really good. I am very satisfied with both the ink and the…

You have to look at the prices.

and count. These are high capacity reservoirs that hold twice as much ink as traditional reservoirs. Prices fluctuate up and down. I buy it when it's low but don't just check the price on this one, compare it to individual CMY XL tanks. Last week when I bought 3 packs it was a dollar cheaper than buying the tanks individually, this week I checked and it's a dollar more! Buy the XL tanks, they're the same size as the regular ones, but they hold significantly more ink and last more than twice as…

XL ink cartridges are cheaper than regular ink cartridges.

XL packs are worth buying as they are cheaper than non-XL ink cartridges. I have a Canon MG6300 and am very happy with it. I like printing photos on this printer, but standard cartridges run out quickly. I bought XL cartridges to save money and get more prints per use. I wish they had 4 XL packs of gray ink as they are often used in color printing to match colors to run out just as quickly. It can be purchased separately but it would be nice if it came in a 4 pack. I've found the ink levels are

Very good quality but wish they lasted longer for the price

I have found my Canon ix6820 to produce much better photos than my Epson XP-830. Epson keeps leaving black ink streaks on photos because the black cartridges appear to be leaking. When I want to print photos, I have to take out the black cartridges and gently wipe the silicone ring around the printheads to remove excess ink. I can then print photos without black streaks, but Epson always puts too much ink on prints, and images with checked shirts or similar areas tend to get dirty in the darker

God these things are expensive. As I said in another review, I hate every time I have to order a new one. But for printing high-quality photos on Canon paper, these Canon inks are second to none. Color accuracy, ease of use and the all-important "end result” make them the preferred choice for high-quality image printing. I use mine on a Canon Pixma iX6820 and when I print in high quality mode on Canon's finest 13 x 19 inch (A3+) glossy or matte paper, I'm still shocked at how good the results…

The inks don't last long and the printer is terrible

I put new ink in and printed the blue dress tutorial first. I've printed twenty pages and the blue on the screen is noticeably less. Twenty pages. As you can see from the photos, the page has an average amount of blue and the ink is noticeably less. I applied the ink five minutes ago. The big problem is my mg7120 printer. These are the recommended inks. It never lasts long and we can go weeks without using it and still run out of ink. The ink is bad, the printer is even worse. This out of paper

Great mascara, terrible price. These prices are going crazy.

Okay, let me break down my star rating here so it makes sense. This ink is amazing and like the ink it is a 5 star product. So why only three stars? Actually two reasons. First and foremost, I just don't think he lives up to his XL status. There doesn't seem to be that much ink in these tanks to merit such a label. I walk through them as if they were water. While I've been known to print a lot of 8.5x11 photos, I still think something labeled XL should be enough for 30 or 40+ prints. This is…
