The problem with lightweight sweaters is that they are so light and thin that they stretch ridiculously and tear through, or they are so thick that they become bulky, tight and itchy. This sweater is not one of them! It feels very light but adds warmth. The sleeves have tiny volume so they don't fit very snugly around the arms, which my son prefers. The bodice has a straight shape, holds up well to washing and hanging to dry. The best part is that the fabric is soft and I haven't heard any complaints of itching.
