Feels similar to the original steering wheel

After installation (2-3 hours) it basically feels like an OEM leather steering wheel. The skin is trimmed tight but not exactly, so you end up with some weird patches to deal with. The back of the sides where the center connects to the wheel has a little play, but this can go away over time. It seemed to me that the more I pushed him to where he needed to go, the more he stayed there. The bottom was only visible if you tried to touch it, but it was a lot better than the sides and pressing it in place to keep it where it should be seemed effective. Having said the negative I don't think calling this a bad product is enough. This is actually very good, and if the skin tightens up a bit better over time, it's close enough to the original and no one will notice it's not. There are a lot of cords so you can pull a little longer than the instructions say and waste some. It's not difficult, but it takes time and patience. I found it easier to insert the front pieces of leather and do the back piece after you sew it. It helped keep things from moving. Overall I am happy with this product and if it lasts I would buy it again if I had another car without a leather steering wheel.
