I have handmade wool rugs - woven and knitted by family members. All are 60 years old or older and have lived their lives on the floors of my grandmother's house, my mother's house and my house. I'm a cat lover too! I was concerned about the wear and tear of these particular mats so just vacuumed them up. Cat fur clumped and rolled under the scuffing rubber sole. This video arrived two days ago, was put together yesterday and the results from two minutes of use are more than amazing. The rollers are no longer sticky and the colors of the two test pads are brighter than I could have ever imagined. In those two minutes I used two rolled canvases. No pressure was needed and the used rollers were soiled with cat hair, pine needles, etc. that had been stuck in the mats. I didn't see any carpet fibers. After reading other comments I carefully removed the first sheet of adhesive used and now I know how to do it. No problem. One word to describe this product: JOY!
