I only write reviews if I am satisfied with the quality. These things are EXCELLENT. It's so easy to mount heavy items like mirrors and they keep the item snug and flush with the surface thanks to their low profile. It's very simple: attach the part of the holder to the object to be hung. Make sure it's level - I use my phone's level, which is great. Do the same to install the wall mount. Hang your item. You have the option to play side by side if you want to adjust the lateral position on the wall. Aligning things is easy. I'm actually surprised at how perfectly my two mirrors line up. I take another mirror and a larger picture for another. The latter is due to ease of use, as opposed to twisted wire hanging on a hook on the wall. Yes, these are excellent gimbals for any heavy or even more permanent setup. I would suggest using the small ones instead of wires and picture hooks just because they offer good protection. Recommended.
