. So. I don't always have the brightest lightbulb, and I constantly go into the oven without oven mitts (you think I'm learning, but no). Covering the edges on the posts has saved me quite a few burns. Very good idea, very good product. I gave 4 stars because they don't stay in place exactly and need to be adjusted/checked before turning on the oven, but it doesn't matter much. I would only deduct an eighth of a star if it were possible.
