Hmm, thin plastic for kids headphones? For real!?!? Come on.

I would have thought that since they were made for children they should be made from higher quality materials to ensure they could withstand being handled by a child. You seem so fragile! I bought them for my son who just turned 8. I'm afraid to handle them let alone let him! Cheap plastic chrome and colored plastic are not suitable for children. I am very disappointed and would never recommend this product to anyone with a pulse. I don't know how these things have a star rating.
