I'm an automotive technician and I use my Microsoft Surface Pro as my primary diagnostic scanner. I bought it to use as a non-slip protective surface to place my computer on my car. The goal is not to scratch vehicles and provide a non-slip surface to keep my computer in place. This is fully compliant. I measured ahead of time and decided that a 12" x 12" square would be perfect for a computer with the stand extended and the keyboard attached. I know this isn't necessarily what it's designed for, but the thick, durable, non-slip surface makes it perfect for the task. I would buy it again but I doubt I'll ever need it.
