Thank you. Since my last remote died I bought the 9.99 remote just to use from my bed. I've found that I can't connect HDMI to my bedroom TV to watch movies from my computer. Eventually I found the serial numbers for the remotes, searched Revain and found the remote that came with the TV was just an updated version. As soon as I put the batteries in the remote control, the TV turned on and all functions worked properly. Now I've learned to always look for serial numbers on the remote control that comes with the TV and buy the same one.
