Great for old laptops!

My laptop's built-in card reader seems to be broken as it is several years old. I needed a high-speed card reader primarily for SD cards (and microSD, although I only use the many microSD-to-SD adapters I have) and the occasional XQD card. It was great thanks to the USB 3.0 connection for high speed data transfer. It recognizes the card the moment you insert it with virtually no delay. We tested the card reading speed on my friend's new laptop and the speed was just as fast!
