I bought these ice cube trays because I needed something that could shape ice to fit my insulated thermos. It worked like a charm and I am very happy with my purchase. Once the silicone is filled with water, you need to be careful to lay it as flat as possible in the freezer. The good news is that even a slight kink isn't really a problem, as the silicone lid seems to fit snugly enough to prevent water from sloshing over small bumps. The ice can also be removed very easily by simply pressing on the underside of the ice cube. A very good product for those who need this particular form of ice cream.
