A new entry in the TWS world of Tranya

Having bought (and loved) the Tranya B530 I was keen to try the Rimors with their larger driver to see how they sound. When they first got my hands on them I was, as always, impressed with the unboxing process. Trana puts together a very good package. I was amazed to see that Tranya managed to use heat shrink tubing for the case which is *much* smaller than the B530 case. This is possibly the smallest TWS case I have and seems to be very durable. It's also much stronger and seems to last longer and is easier to open too. In this case there is no thin transparent cover. The earbuds themselves are about the same size and fit very snugly in the ears - you twist them and they seem to click into place instantly. It also helps with outside noise as they have excellent isolation. I tested them for a few days and the battery life and ease of pairing were exceptional. So another win for Tranya on that front. The sound quality wasn't what I expected - I figured a bigger driver would make it look like B530s with even deeper bass. While he's still digging deep, I don't think his numbers are any bigger (which is fine unless you're a big league busshead and don't care about anything else). I would also describe the sound as either clinical or maybe even W-shaped. The mids are very forward and the highs are also raised. I think I was expecting the same setup as their other device and it's not the same at all. That's not to say it's bad, but I'm a bit sensitive to high frequencies, so Rimors can sound a bit squeaky or hissing to me at times. I'll have to experiment with the equalizer settings to see if I can tweak them to my preferred sound signature. They're great for listening to podcasts, and I even use them to turn off the voice amplifier in my podcast app. The quality of the microphone also turned out to be very good, although I didn't really check it.
