Given the amount of ribbon wasted, it's obvious that they sell ribbons and not printers.
I'm having an issue with the standard cost of lots of ribbon due to the use of very large margins on both sides of your font. You can change the margin to save ribbon (some waste is inevitable due to cutter placement) and Brother Support tells you it will stay that way until you remove the batteries. BUT THEY ARE LIES! He will return to wasteful mode at any time. Apparently they are in the business of selling ribbons, not printers. When I suggested changing the default it got blank because everyone who sees the waste complains about it. Everyone!
