I cannot set the cord wrap function. Do they assume that all cables are the same thickness? You can do this from a computer, but templates cannot be updated. Why is the function straight?

Loved this label printer. Only used twice but it was great. Nothing but good words to say. Unfortunately it was stolen when my work truck was broken into and I can't see it further than those two times.

Great label maker. I've used several for work including this one. This one makes large and small labels. You can also connect it directly to your computer using Brother's software which is also great and FREE! If you want there is also an SDK that you can use and create your own software. I used it to create an application that is used every day.

I'm having an issue with the standard cost of lots of ribbon due to the use of very large margins on both sides of your font. You can change the margin to save ribbon (some waste is inevitable due to cutter placement) and Brother Support tells you it will stay that way until you remove the batteries. BUT THEY ARE LIES! It can be plugged into the mains or run on regular batteries or the included lithium-ion battery. To be honest, it's more like 4.5 stars. Basically, it would have gotten 5 stars if there wasn't one thing that really bothers me. Every time I print a label, a blank label about 1/2 inch long flies out for no apparent reason. I tried disabling it but the only link I could find was that there was no way to prevent it.
