The front material is thicker and feels like a tapestry curtain. The back is made of thinner fabric. I really like how cute the pattern is embroidered onto the fabric. The only problem I had was inserting the pillow filler. The seam was poorly sewn and the zippers on both pillows were beginning to unravel. I didn't put a pillow in either. i was gentle I'll sew it up again when I get a chance. until you see it I really like that the zipper is hidden.
