I bought this camera for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. The overall quality is normal for a child I think. The camera body is made of very thin plastic and the lens is always visible as there is no lens cap. The images on the screen look exactly like the ones I took with my flip phone camera about 15 years ago. For the money I paid I expected about the same. But what I find unacceptable is that the battery life is terrible. In two weeks, the camera used 16 AAA batteries. Ultimately, this will not be bearable for us. I would not buy this camera again and would rather look for a slightly more expensive camera with a better rating and a better brand.
