You must get one! for digital cameras

Only criticism is that the screen is a bit three dimensional, but not only. this is perfect for my needs. For a 20MP camera, that's great! Now you can take much better quality selfies than you can with your mobile phone. I will buy more than gifts!

Should not have bought

I read the reviews but ordered this camera anyway. It had mixed reviews so I took a chance. I'm sorry. My daughter loves pretending to make YouTube videos and she needs a selfie camera. We took it out of the box and it felt cheap and light to me. I added new batteries and after 30 minutes the camera stopped working. Don't buy it. Negative reviews are true for a reason!

Waste of money: camera and photo

This camera is a waste of money. It drains the batteries within five minutes. I thought I had a defect so I replaced it. New camera, same problem. I wrote to Vivitar support and received an email that I may have the wrong memory card even though it was 32GB Class 4. So I bought a new memory card and formatted it following the instructions emailed to. It still drains the batteries after just a few minutes. Now I've spent more money on batteries and memory cards than on a camera.

  • Easy installation

TERRIBLE CAMERA on camera and photo

I bought this for my 5 year old niece for Christmas expecting it to be a regular baby camera. It's so cheaply made that the camera wouldn't even turn on with batteries because the connection to the battery compartment isn't good enough. Sent it back and ordered a replacement. Replacing the camera allowed the battery cover to close, but the camera would not turn on at all. I returned it and got my money back. It's made out of the cheapest plastic. Despite the low price, the camera is so cheap…

not as advertised on digital cameras

Claimed to be 20 megapixels but all images are blurry even when set to 20 MP. Brand new batteries will die in 3 days, even if the camera has been off for most of the day. There is no sound when playing videos on the camera. It's only after loading that the sound works, and then the quality is really low and the picture quality looks like something from a cheap gas station security camera from the 90's. Even if you hold it with a very firm hand, the photo will be blurry. However, I can take…

Burns like crazy with batteries

I bought this camera for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas. The overall quality is normal for a child I think. The camera body is made of very thin plastic and the lens is always visible as there is no lens cap. The images on the screen look exactly like the ones I took with my flip phone camera about 15 years ago. For the money I paid I expected about the same. But what I find unacceptable is that the battery life is terrible. In two weeks, the camera used 16 AAA batteries. Ultimately, this

Excellent seller! Terrible product.

I'm uncomfortable writing this because the seller was AMAZING and made sure to send it in time for my son to fly to Africa, but for other purchases of this precise camera - people need to know camera is - scrap! Absolute rubbish. I'm a photographer and should have known better than to be a curmudgeon with a camera. My son has already cost us a lot of money to send him to Africa for 2 years and I was hoping it would be as good as the HP camera I bought at a lower price but it is not . It has…

Huge junk don't worry

After a long search for a cheap camera (none of which had good reviews) I settled on the Vivitar. I had a very similar one in the past and liked it a lot so I gave it a try. God, that was an unfortunate mistake! I really liked this camera for the first two days and then it started to fail. For starters, the preview screen is horribly grainy, and it's basically impossible to tell if your shot is sharp or not, and you can't tell how it turned out when you return to the preview. You literally have
