I've probably bought five or six dog car seats over the years. They are often very thin and begin to sag after a few months. It has a very soft material inside and metal bars on both sides to ensure its strength. The roads are covered with a material that you attach Velcro to so you don't have to worry about your dog touching it. It also has three straps so it's very reliable. My dog likes to look out the window so I can pick her up and she can. It's also pretty quick to install and uninstall. I usually turn it on and off when I have people in my car. I've only had it for a few weeks, but it's really holding up. I have no doubt it will take a long time. My dog weighs 8 pounds for reference. She walked and sat further when we received it. She slept in it on my doorstep before I installed it. Obviously she was a fan.
