Review on Kohler Genuine 1039861 Flush Valve by Damon Blazis
A bit difficult to apply
After reading some reviews I also bought the Sil-Glyde product and soaked the pad for about an hour. I first installed the valve without the flapper and gasket to get an idea of the exact fit. It took me about 15 minutes to install it at different angles but with a little patience it will fit. Using Sil-Glyde definitely helped him get into it. When installed, the seal was tight and didn't leak at all.
