The hard drive is nice and small, has a USB connector for use as a portable drive, which I liked. I first used it on my Windows 7 64 bit computer. worked without any problems - this is also my first ssd drive. if any, not a huge increase in performance. Other than a few seconds reduction in load time, I didn't notice anything compared to the previous 7200rpm hard drive I had. Not very convincing for the price, I will not buy again. I later used this drive in my PS3 and replaced the secondary 7200rpm drive I put in - again a slight performance increase to be honest I can't even tell the difference from the PS3. a good drive if you want versatility, fast loading and fast data transfer within the drive itself. If you're looking for a performance boost over the 7200, it's not worth it - use the money to get a much larger standard hard drive.
