Review on 🔌 Tekonsha T-One® T-Connector Harness for Subaru Crosstrek, Forester, Outback, XV Crosstrek - 4-Way Flat & Compatible by Justin Heynoski

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as advertised good for electrics

I searched for Revain, entered my make and model information and found this. I've seen some people have issues, but I'm a woman and have never installed anything like this myself. I have a 2009 Subaru Forester LLBean that I recently bought and needed a hitch for. My fiance installed the hitch but I installed it myself. I've read how some connect to taillights to connect theirs etc. I just checked my owner's manual and noticed that there is a plug in the back under the foam inserts on the driver's side. I wired it up, used the included zip ties to secure the wires, used the included tape to secure the black box under the fender, and put the foam back in place. I didn't want the cables under the car so I could just tuck them back into the spare tire well for protection when not in use. We don't use headlights very often. Basically, I put a bike rack there. It was long enough to get to the trailer wires and connect them. Worked great the first time. The floor is built in, so you don't have to mess with that either. My fiancé was very impressed. :))

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
