Unfortunately it didn't work.

I bought this cable to replace a cable that I have shorted and I'm glad I had this cable before tested the trip and left my OEM Surface charger at home because the cable I received didn't work. The light is on, but my Surface Pro isn't charging.

Pros

If you have this cable, you can use wall chargers and power adapters that meet the described Power Delivery (PD) requirements, allowing you to use other Type-C power adapters with your Microsoft Surface. Power supply: 15V (depends on your power supply)
