Review on πŸ”Œ PPVM1-WH01 Pivot Power Mini - Unique and Compact Power Strip (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Jeremy Choi

Seems like a BIG idea. but this thing is just 'good'

He does what he sees how he does. And it folds by itself and becomes portable (throw it in your backpack, bag, etc.). It has two USB inputs and two standard electrical plugs. And it just looks cool and innovative. Problem: The main convenience feature of this thing is that it has TWO built-in USBs, so I don't have to pull out USB power adapters to power my mobile devices. Well, USBs don't deliver enough power for most smartphones and tablets, especially if you're using both USBs at the same time (for me, one of the two just stops charging, and sometimes both). It kills everything for me I'll still use it, carry it with me for "those times" when there's literally a plug in the wall and I need two. but FUCK, please give me two powerful working USB inputs! :) I'm a techie and carry around a lot of devices that need power when I'm not at home (hence the purchase of the Pivot Power Mini) so I was a bit disappointed with this item. If it's a good price, get one (why not, it's still useful). But if it's not on sale or if you're not crazy about what I wrote above either. Save that virtual cash and buy a quality power strip with surge protection (then you'll have to keep the USB power adapter, of course, but the choice is yours?).
