Great Idea Poor Execution

I was so excited when I discovered this product because there are so many electronic devices in our family that we quickly ran out of outlets and USB ports. I have ordered two. The USB ports stopped charging in the first after about 2 months of use, and the second had an issue with only being able to charge one USB connected device at a time. This completely misses the point of the product and makes it unusable for me. I wish I could return them as I now have $40 which is sort of a single USBโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quick Replacement
Cons
  • Bad Experience

shiny surge protector

I have an Android phone and an iPod that I like to use for running. Both used huge bulky adapters to plug USB into a standard outlet. They barely fit together and used up both connectors. With this cool adapter plug I can get rid of factory adapters and still have 2 sockets available. No more pulling on cables when you need to connect something else, no more trying to put the connectors together like a puzzle. Thing is excellent, maybe I'll buy some more for other rooms

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expandable

Best device for charging devices

I have this device and I love it. I take it to hotels where there is no way out other than an inaccessible piece of furniture. It folds up for easy portability and will NOT interfere with a second outlet when plugged into the top one. This is the best value for money and all family members will be happy if they can charge the battery without having to look for an outlet.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Long wait

Seems like a BIG idea. but this thing is just 'good'

He does what he sees how he does. And it folds by itself and becomes portable (throw it in your backpack, bag, etc.). It has two USB inputs and two standard electrical plugs. And it just looks cool and innovative. Problem: The main convenience feature of this thing is that it has TWO built-in USBs, so I don't have to pull out USB power adapters to power my mobile devices. Well, USBs don't deliver enough power for most smartphones and tablets, especially if you're using both USBs at the sameโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Nothing here

Works flawlessly. It folds up very nicely.

I first bought one of these from Fab for my daughter because she had so many electronic devices to charge: iPod touch, another MP3 player, Nintendo DS etc. I liked how it folds up . I bought a second one from Revain here. I've read complaints about the USB ports not delivering enough power. I just don't see it. I am currently charging the HTC My Touch 4G Shift and the Samsung Galaxy Tab using two USB ports. And anyone who knows the Samsung Galaxy Tab knows that it is sensitive to chargers. Itโ€ฆ

Quirky Power Mini in Surge Protector

I love the idea of a device that can be used as two outlets and charge multiple devices at the same time e.g. a mobile phone, an iPad, etc. The problem is that a full charge takes forever compared to charging directly from an outlet. I want to like it and tried it for a few days. My iPad and iPhone indicated that they were charging, but I was never able to get a full charge. The Power Mini ended up in my kitchen drawer - it's not expensive enough to send back. But I won't buy any other.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Upgrades

Terrible or even pathetic

The idea of having ONE cool gadget that could replace my devices sounded great, unfortunately, whimsically, Pivot can't handle two USD devices (iPhone + Galaxy) on the front ports "It's only rated for 2 amp charging - iPhones take just over 1 amp to charge." For those of us who rely on mobility (iPad + iPhone + Galaxy S III), that actually sucks, it doesn't matter that you're constantly carrying a full extension cord.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Almost never
