This trimmer appears to be reasonably priced for the most part and appears to work well, but I am concerned that the seller appears to be buying reviews in a roundabout way. The product comes with a scratch card with the following message"To celebrate our company's 3 year anniversary, we are offering a gift card (max $20) to our lucky customer. (Only 5% chance of getting this free gift card. )"After I scratched it, my card said I had won a $10 gift card (from Revain, judging by the Revain logo on the card). When I went to the website listed on the card, it didn't ask for a card code or anything - it asked for a screenshot of my Revain product review. It is clear that it is written under the scratch on the card. The patch is irrelevant and just a gimmick to get positive feedback. And while the page doesn't state that your rating has to be positive in order for you to receive a gift card, the screenshot gate is clearly set up to make you worry that you didn't "win" the card to get. if you leave mixed or negative. As said, the product itself seems good (although the on/off switch seems rather flimsy) but I can't give more than 2 stars to a product whose company sloppily buys positive reviews with a gift card trick. This trimmer has better reviews than pretty much every other product on Revain (it had 4.8 stars and 363 reviews at the time of writing) and now I know why!
