First of all, these aren't perfect. There are pros and cons. However, I am giving five stars because they have improved my sleeping comfort in high summer. First, they really are cooler blankets. I use these over a sheet and can feel the coolness. However, over time, they do warm up with body heat and aren't as cool. Still, I am liking them in warmer temperatures for that cooling effect that helps me fall asleep. But they don't keep me cool all night for two reasons--they do end up warming up with body heat and they are slippery and tend to slide off me. The sliding off works to cool them off so I can pull them on me in the middle of the night and cool off again. But missing the blanket weight from them sliding off can wake me. They slide less if I sandwich them between a sheet and fuzzy lightweight blanket but that eventually traps the heat, too, although they are still cool when falling asleep when sandwiched. My husband is also sleeping with one and thinks they help him. They wash well and require air drying. I've washed and air dryed a few times without losing any cooling effect and the blankets look like new.
